Chem-Crest Oxide Remover 35 is a mildly acidic liquid cleaner developed to remove various oxides. It removes tarnish and brightens metals such as brass, copper, bronze and stainless steel. Chem-Crest 35 has also found uses in the removal of light oils and other general contaminants. Chem-Crest Oxide Remover 35 removes oxides, scale and tarnish. It cleans soils such as oils, light grease, fingerprints, dust and airborne contaminants.
Operating Conditions:
Chem-Crest 35 is typically used at 5-10% by volume. Typical operating temperatures: 140°-180° F. Chem-Crest 35 is easy to rinse and leaves no residues when ultrasonically rinsed with deionized water. The ultrasonic frequency in the rinses is recommended to be 40 kHz or 132kHz., dependent on the material makeup of the substrate, and the contaminants being removed. Substrate Compatibility:
Chem-Crest Oxide Remover 35 is compatible with aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, beryllium/copper and zinc. It is safe on glass, ceramics and plastics. Ferrous metals must be rinsed thoroughly after treatment and then protected with a rust inhibitor, such as the Chem-Crest 77 series of rinse-injection additives.
Avoid freezing conditions. Dispose in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and procedures. No products contained in this concentrate are regulated under SARA Title III, Section 313.
