Chem-Crest 75A is phosphoric acid based cleaner. The product is designed for removing oils, greases, lubricants and oxides. It is capable of producing hydrophilic surfaces upon rinsing with water. It is used typically for the brightening of soft metals as well as the removal of greases, oxides, and particulates, but finds uses in many different applications. Chem-Crest 75A is also part of the Crest Aqueous Displacement System series of detergents. Chem-Crest 75A is effective at removal of light oxides from the surface of soft metal and stainless steel parts, as well as oils, tinctures, greases, and lubricants. Chem-Crest 75A will brighten dull appearances and leave no residue upon proper rinsing. It is recommended that an ultrasonic rinse follow applications using Chem-Crest 75A.
Operating Conditions:
Chem-Crest 75A is used at typical dilution of 4 – 10 % by volume. Concentration may vary based on the type of the organic film. Typical operating temperature is in the range of 50°C - 65°C. Chem-Crest 75A is easy to rinse and leaves no residues when ultrasonically rinse with deionized water. In certain cases, a rust inhibitor, such as the Chem-Crest 77 series rinse injection line, will be necessary after use of Chem-Crest 75A
Substrate Compatibility:
Chem Crest 75A is compatible with 300 series stainless steel, titanium and various plastic components. It is not recommended for use with precious metals and should be tested before use on aluminum or copper-containing materials, highcarbon steels, and other materials.
Storage Conditions and Disposal Methods:
